Quick Update

Well, I just finished two more soaps yesterday- Nottella and Bamboo. I'll have photos in a few days when they get cut. But that's it for batch #1. Now I have to focus on the boring business shit, like packaging, marketing, etc. In an ideal world I could make stuff all day and someone else would deal with the selling.

The "Nottella" soap smells like Nutella; hazelnuts, rich chocolate with a hint of vanilla. Looks really nice so far, but I messed up a bit on the top. That's ok, mess-ups mean they become samples.

The Bamboo soap is a bit harder to describe. I tried making it look like a layer of grass over a layer of dirt. Kinda worked. The smell is earthy, but clean and crisp. Like "fresh rain on the backyard lawn"-James quote. It's a very good soapy smell. James won't stop sniffing it!

I dressed up the original coffee soap that everyone went nuts for. It looks good and smells good. I also worked out a no-coconut recipe for Alycea. I hope she likes it.

As for my dreads, they are taking FOREVER. I made my own dread wax to use and it turned out really really nice. I'm thinking of marketing it eventually.
